Paul Katsetis signs with AEK Athens

Paul signed with AEK FC in July 2011 

AEK FC Football Academy (Australia) player Paul Katsetis has departed Australia to chase his dream of becoming a professional footballer after signing a 3yr contract with AEK Athens. This is fantastic news for not only Paul and his family but also for the AEK Academy which started in March 2011.

Academy Technical Director Arthur Diles stated " When the Academy was launched by club President Stavros Adamidis the aim was to identify and nurture young talented footballers who would one day follow in the footsteps of Socceroo Nathan Burns and other Australians before to him including Jim Patikas and Terry Patalis. Paul is a very talented footballer, with a fantastic attitude and has taken the opportunity given to him.

This signing inspires a new generation of players from our Academy who have witnessed first hand the pathway to professional football afforded to one of their Academy teammates."
